Project 12: DC al Coda

Hi everyone!

The eighth installment is out! I present to you: “Coda.”

This film brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “small but mighty.” Yes, it is less than five minutes long, but making it happen was a rather Herculean task.

We were presented with a challenge by the Make Your Mark Competition, sponsored by the Producers’ Guild of America and Chevrolet. The challenge? To write, shoot, and send out a short film in a weekend. The shortest we have ever done before is a week. Needless to say, this would be something new.

Speaking of new, we were able to enlist director, Christopher Gooch, and his brother, Peter, to help us with our project. We certainly couldn’t have done it without them!

I am so grateful for the amazing cast and crew, who put in long hours to make this film happen. (We submitted the film to Withoutabox just before the buzzer, and now it’s being considered by NUVO TV as a possible part of their Spring Showcase.)

I tell you, if I have learned anything during this filming process, it is the power of teamwork.

No matter who you are or where you are, you need community in your life. With it, you can do amazing things.

Blessings to you in Christ,
