Rabbit Hole

Sold “as-is” the sign says

All it’s flaws, all it’s hidden breaks

and deformities

“Either take it or leave it:”

this becomes our rallying cry.

But why settle

with “just as I am”-ism

I mean, it’s a great place to start

But what if you cleaned up those

paint splotches

You replaced those bad parts,

sure it takes work

but doesn’t look good in the end.

Don’t get me wrong,

you’re beautiful from the get-go,

but we are all on a journey.

Care to see how wide and how deep

The rabbit-hole really goes?
