I am super pumped to announce that my new book is out on Amazon. Six bucks buys you this super sweet compilation of poetry, short stories, scripts, and songs, and thanks to Prime, it can be at your doorstep in a matter of days. What I am most excited about is the chance to spotlight some pretty cool people I have met during my time on this spinning ball called Earth. THEY are definitely worth getting to know. Please, pick yourself up a copy today. Now, even =)
I am totally stoked to announce that Project 12 Presents, which features most of our Project 12 Film Series, plus a few extra goodies, is now available on Amazon! Major props go out to Jesus Christ, the Project 12 cast and crew, F10 Films, Independent Aro, Rev.com (our closed captioning provider), and Amazon Direct Video for making this all happen. Featuring music, dance, drama, action, and comedy, there is a little something for everyone in this short film collection.
For those with Amazon Prime, it’s absolutely FREE. You can even watch it on your smart phone by simply downloading the Amazon Video app. This is definitely not something you want to pass by, so pick up your copy today and please, please do leave a comment on the Amazon page. Every review- good, bad, and ugly- makes a WORLD of difference!

Squee! It’s been a long time coming, but soon, through Amazon’s CreateSpace and Amazon Video Direct, we should have the Project 12 Film Series available for rental and purchase. Stay tuned for more updates! Thanks =)
I hope this note finds you well!
Today, we will walk through how to turn your average selfie pic into an epic Star Wars spectacular.
Things you will need: smart phone, Camera + app (or comparable Samsung equivalent), mirror, adequate lighting, and robe (the one featured here can be purchased at Robe Factory via Amazon).
First, we begin with a bathroom mirror and a smart phone.
Second, take a selfie. Note: the photo shown here is not even my own picture, but rather one taken by Mrs. Alyse Pierce, an amazingly talented model and overall cool person, and shared with her express permission.
Third, add the desired filter. (I used the “Emo” filter to get the nifty shadows and strong contrast shown here.)
Fourth, email the retouched photo to yourself and start up your computer.
Fifth, download GIMP onto said computer. What is GIMP? “GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.” (GIMP website) It is available for both Mac and PC, is completely safe, and completely free. This is the program you will use to add the desired lightsaber effect.
Sixth, follow the instructions provided here by Micah Matt via Youtube. I personally own a Mac, but could follow his Windows instructions easily enough. What you will essentially be doing is creating two different background layers with varying degrees of blur and then changing the color saturation on those backgrounds so that your newly created white saber transforms into any color blade you want.
Seventh, export the GIMP .xcf file into a more user-friendly .jpg or .png file.
Eight, share and savor the fruit of your labors.
That’s it! You made it! I’m pretty green myself, yet this nifty technique only took me an hour or so to pick up. So, adventure, experiment, and I pray your edits turn out ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.
Blessings to you in Christ,
I am so pleased to announce that our first novella has just released on Amazon!
This sci-fi title, “Into the Valley of Monsters,” follows the adventures of a young man who falls in love with a young priestess. Their forbidden love brings a curse upon the village in which they live. In response, the young man must travel across their world, even into the fabled Valley of Monsters, in order to undo the curse, running into all kinds of trouble along the way.
If you like science fiction, fantasy, or just good, old-fashioned storytelling, you’re gonna love this. Thank you so much for tuning in!
Blessings to you in Christ,
