Through Christ, Who Empowers Us to Do All Things

Before Christ died, He bequeathed all power to His disciples, especially to Peter (though he had betrayed Him).

Before Peter died, He bequeathed all power to us, naming us a holy priesthood and heirs to the throne of God.

No matter your past or your present, you are offered the opportunity to live exalted in Him.

I invite you now to seize your inheritance and claim the glory set aside for you since the beginning of time so that you would live a life fully endowed with the full and undiluted strength of the Spirit, which Jesus purchased for us with His Holy Blood.

I Was Born with a Primal Glory

You can take what you want from me

for I was born with a primal glory

so even if everything I have is gone

I still have that

always did, always do, always will

it is a God-given gift

the seal of the incarnate Divine

placed upon my skin like stigmata,

letting the Earth know I am His

and He is mine and we are ours together.

Transubstantiation

When we accept the redeeming blood of Christ

into our veins

When we invite the Spirit of the Living God

into our souls

Our very bodies are not our own

Yes, we have traded our mortal flesh

for the eternal skin of God

When we walk through life

it should not be you they see

but Jesus Christ returned,

ready to do miracles

feed the poor

hang with the lowly

hear the voice of the Father

and live intentionally,

bearing His sufferings

for the greater good.

All Saints’ Day

The saints

the miracles

the legends

the sufferings

the tortures

the blood

and the glory.

Contemplating the servants of the Divine

the rich history

gives you a greater appreciation,

a holy community

to draw from when you feel alone

and powerless

and ineffectual.

Verily you carry the seed of these heroes past!

Live in light of that ineffable truth.

Holy God, Mother & Father

Holy God,

You are Mother and Father

Jesus, my brother

other believers, my siblings

I rest within Your house

I obey Your rules

I belong to Your family

What a heritage!

What a legacy!

Teach me the stories of

those who came before me

I have all eternity

perhaps, if they have a moment,

they could tell me themselves,

tell me the stories of how they came

to know You and the adventures You took them on

and the things they learned,

and I could tell them the same.
